If you provide another person’s data, you should ensure that you are authorised to do so and that the person has been informed of the relevant purposes.

When you voluntarily provide personal data for a stated or obvious purpose, you consent or may be deemed to consent to its collection, use and disclosure for that purpose.

We will not require consent beyond what is reasonable to provide the requested product or service. We may also handle personal data without consent where permitted or required by law.

You may withdraw consent by contacting our DPO. We will explain the likely consequences and process your request within a reasonable period.

Once the withdrawal takes effect, we will stop the relevant collection, use or disclosure unless it is required or authorised by law. Withdrawal may affect our ability to provide certain services.

Where we process personal data solely for a client, we follow the client’s instructions and our contractual obligations. Requests concerning such data may need to be directed to the client.

We may also use aggregated or anonymised information that cannot reasonably identify an individual.

8. Protection of Personal Data

We make reasonable administrative, physical and technical security arrangements to protect personal data against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, loss or disposal.

The measures applied depend on the nature and sensitivity of the data and the risks involved. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system is completely secure.

10. Accuracy, Access and Correction

We take reasonable steps to ensure personal data is accurate and complete when it is likely to be used to decide affecting you or disclosed to another organisation. Please contact us if your information changes.

Subject to the PDPA, you may request:

  • Access to personal data about you in our possession or control
  • Information about how it was used or disclosed during the preceding year
  • Correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data

Requests must be submitted to our DPO with sufficient information for us to identify you and process the request.

We may verify your identity. If we cannot respond within 30 days after receiving a valid request, we will inform you in writing of the expected response time.

A reasonable fee may apply to an access request. We will provide an estimate before proceeding. We may refuse or limit a request where permitted or required under the PDPA.

11. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected or for another legal or business purpose.

12. Overseas Transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside Singapore, we will take appropriate steps to ensure that the recipient is bound to provide a standard of protection comparable to that required under the PDPA, unless an applicable exception applies.

13. Personal-Data Breaches

We will take reasonable and prompt steps to assess and contain suspected personal-data breaches.

Where required under the PDPA, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commission and affected individuals.
